Inspira Health Network Quiet Hospital Initiative Utilizing a Secure Mobile Communications Platform
Event Information
Inspira Health Network (IHN), Futura Mobility, Pursuit Healthcare Advisors (Pursuit), and Practice Unite are working together to implement a Quiet Hospital initiative across campuses. Driven by concern for its patients’ care and satisfaction, IHN decided to undertake this challenge to improve care and patient satisfaction as well as to make it easier for staff and clinicians to safely communicate. In support of its mission and at the forefront of creating a quiet hospital is the understanding that IHN must be increasingly sensitive to its patients’ physical environment. The largest challenge was determined to be the noise pollution created by the number of overhead pages created on a daily basis. Seeking to rectify the problem and address other issues, IHN partnered with Pursuit. Together we have implemented a secure communications platform that not only enables clinician communication electronically, but also allows for real-time data sharing. Though the project has not officially finished, join this session to discover how Inspira is already seeing an early return on the investment and a significant value as well.
